Paranaense Museum

The Paranaense Museum, a State Government space dedicated to preserving the history and culture of Paraná, has a collection of approximately 400 thousand items. Since its inauguration, the Paranaense Museum was placed in six different locations, until settling in the current location, the São Francisco Palace. Currently the Paranaense Museum develops studies in the fields of Archaeology, Anthropology and History. Its new headquarters has the structure to hold projects and cultural activities, reaching the various social segments. It has laboratories, library, auditorium, in addition to permanent showrooms and temporary exhibitions.
